The strongest thing you carry isn't a password — it's the SIM the carrier already trusts. SimSecure turns that into an authentication product.

Context

The same 280-operator footprint that powers carrier billing can answer a different question: is this really the subscriber's device, on the subscriber's line? I built SimSecure — launched as Centili Secure — to make that a product: silent, network-level verification that raises the bar on fraud and account-takeover without the friction of one-time codes.

What I built

  • A SIM-based authentication platform taken from concept to launch as a new product line.
  • Silent network authentication — verifying possession of the line against the operator, with no user-entered code.
  • Identity verification and multi-factor flows layered on the same telco integrations.
  • Distribution built on the existing carrier relationships rather than a cold start.

How it's built

SimSecure sits on the carrier-integration layer and speaks the operator authentication APIs — the Aduna / CAMARA silent-network-auth surface — to confirm the MSISDN-to-device binding server-side. Signed assertions (Ed25519) and OAuth 2.0 flows carry the result into a customer's own auth stack, so it drops into an existing login as a factor rather than replacing it.

Outcome

A launched authentication product line built on infrastructure that already reached billions of subscribers — turning a billing footprint into an identity one.
